Chapter 1 Page 1The Night of Peace
The roar of millions of pitiful citizens of Maloricia, a city that has lost hope in its value of life. The dark orange gleam of the poor dirt covered with many peasants paying taxes without money in hand. But, there was still hope the orange sunrise every morning with moans of the poor screaming for food had forced the last hope of the city to rise up once again. The fear of the King shall be vanquished by it’s final hero. King Draciel was angered when he had found out about a heroic person that fought off the men of the kingdom, he sent out violent men killing innocence that are suspected of helping the shining light - a hero. Dohil Al Shaqif was his name, an Arabian man that believed violence was torture to man kind, and is committed one of the most sinful act. The kingdom was so rich, that everything including the water was gold this was the thanks to the poor innocent people in the city, the greed had overtaken the king.
Dohil saw the light upon his training from his passed away father had taught him how to fight in defense of the people in need, and the wisdom of a wise one with an experience of over 100 years of life. His voyage was a very long way to go. There was many levels of is missions and he lived at the very corner of the city. He had easy access to food from the city beside it. Dohil ventured off without anyone to know where he had left. The dirt was shining dark brown, the food was poisoned, people layed on the floor with no emotion, and no movement. The sun was shining bright down the water was drying up it was a hot day. People were cooking the dead men to feed themselves to endure their life longer. Dohil tried to help out people and donate them money. He had more than enough to offer, and he had made much more from his crafts.
The sun slowly setting the howls of wolves was a sign to send people inside their homes, in fear of the wolves. Dohil had to act quickly, because he cannot continue on in the morning in the extreme rays of the bright sun. He ran towards the location of the kingdom located on the very top of the third hill in his journey. He found an old man lying he looked like a blacksmith or at least a retired one he had many weapons lying around. It seemed as he had defended him self from all these many endless nights of the city.
“M-m-master.. Are you… there..?” Dohil whispered quietly, loud enough for the man to hear. “Yes… M’boy…Y-you wish to wield… a weapon crafted by the great bl-blacksmith Mahil?” shouted out the old man. “S-Su-Sure, I’ll have.. That sword over there.” Dohil tried to smile. “Ah… That was one of… a.. kind… I’ve made this for… a special one… seeing you here… you must be the one…You may… take it.” Mahil words flowing slower by the second. “Okay… Thanks, Mahil I’ll repay you some how..!” Dohil shouted back. “Dohil…Do not bother… These are my last moments of my life… The city of Maloricia will live on… As long as a hero protects our beautiful city…But.. Promise me… Never give in by the king” Mahil replied. “I’ll follow my… way through… Master” Dohil said moments after.
The man stopped talking. His life was to an end.
“We've shared many wonderful glorious memories, you and I, it was like my life to me. I lived like a normal person, trained like a fighter, helped the people and they had respected me as if I was the real king that had the respect. I had nothing to give back to you, I took all my glory. I’m sad, I’m also sorry… for my selfishness… Mahil…” moments after Dohil notices something. “Mahil… are… you there..? Master, I beg forgiveness, but in order for that to happen you must say something… Are you there Master Mahil?” Dohil grabs his hand and checks his pulse. “…M…Mahil… this cannot be… Your life can’t end at this point! I must save our city, I must show you the light of the shining people! Please do not leave me!” Dohil took a pause… Looked at his Master’s face… Then he got up and resumed walking his path with the sword that was given to him.
The night was growing, the wolves howling grew louder, the risk of an attack was in a greater risk. Dohil walked the path coming across a guard of the kingdom. “No one shall trespass the gates to the Kingdom of Bloom” said the guard tensely. “I, me. I will walk through the gate. I cannot be stopped from a pitiful guard that steals off the innocence.” replied Dohil gracefully. “Hah, We’ll see if you’d get across, En Garde!” The guard with a grin gets ready with a fighting stance.
